We were having a bad day. The type where no matter what you say, something gets misconstrued. So without thinking, we hopped in the car and drove north to Antelope Island, with the family. It worked. Niether Kurt nor I had ever been there and so it was an adventure for us all around. It was a nice, warm day, and we explored the island as much as we could. Unfortunetly it was the last day they were open before closing the resturant for the winter, and we got to it 10 min after they closed, or else we would have tried a buffalo burger. Honestly, I thought it kinda rude to be eating buffalo as we look at them in awe, so I had a slight sigh of relief when we found out it was closed. Antelope Island quickly became one of our favorite family day trips. We can’t wait to go back and next time we go, hopefully we’ll be more prepared with suits, towels, maybe camping gear, and try our luck again for a buffalo burger.
